Two weeks ago I made my first Christmas purchase. Yes, I realize it occurred in July. And while it was just a little something for the Lady, that was extra cute & extra fun that just happened to be at a bargain basement price, while I just happened to be at Target, it still counts. And then, 2 days later, I made another Christmas purchase. A little stocking stuffer for Scoobs, that he will go bananas over...because that is how he rolls & that is what makes Christmas so fun.
And just this morning, I decided on neighbor gifts.
All the while, Scot has been laughing at me.
I'm not sure if it has been the cooler temperatures over the last 2 weeks or the abundance of rain & rain clouds, but I am feeling fall.
So much so, that I made Tortilla Soup {my signature fall soup...if i were to have one that is} twice last week, and then invited my family over. And while my sister was here she wondered aloud if it was fall she was feeling. I'm not sure what she is feeling, but it is definitely fall for me. And I know I am so totally & completely premature for it. I mean, it is only August...we don't need jackets until October...and not until the very last day of October.
So we have a ways.
But between the rain clouds, school supplies & cooler weather...I am loving fall.

no no no. august is a SUMMER month. I know arizona is crazypants and thinks it is a school month, but it will be warm and we will still swim for another two months, so no fall yet! I love fall as much as the next gal, but it's not time yet!
you boyer girls are crazy for fall, i know. just hold your horses.
I know what you mean! I just made a list of things Santa might possibly consider so Santa had plenty of time to look for good deals. Its not set in stone or anything but its the beginning. Plus, I wanna hear about your neighbor gift. I might want to copy it over here. I'd love to have that idea knocked out early.
Totally understand! And I thought I was going crazy... glad to see I'm not alone! *B
