Graduates 2012

I loved this announcement mostly because I love the front picture.
I used to teach Lauren in Sunday School...she's obviously grown up.
Can't get over how cute she is.

Graduates 2012

One of my favorites from the season.  Can you get over her eyes?  Stunning.

5x7 ornate printed on pearl.

If it were up to me, I would have sent them out in kraft paper envelopes.  But you know me...I'm sucker for a great envelope.

Graduation Announcements: New for 2012

Working on some new designs for the grads of 2012.

Some can be purchased as printables...meaning you do the printing.

Others, I want to keep the printing to myself.

As always, all the colors can be modified.
Find these ones, here & here.

More to come, I'm sure.  The longer this baby takes to get here the more I find myself sitting down to design!

Class of 2011: Miss Megan

Meet Megan.  Megan is my cousin & I remember when she was born!  Being only 11 days older than my brother, she sticks out in my mind growing up.  I remember when our moms found out they were both pregnant.  Our moms come from a family of 6 girls & they were all in Texas on a 'girls trip.'  For whatever reason my mom took a pregnancy test...I'm pretty sure it started as a joke, but then it became all too real, all too fast when it turned up positive.  My mom was crying because she was pregnant {it was a bit of a shock, when her youngest was 10!} & Megan's mom was wishing to be pregnant & was crying because she wasn't...only to find out shortly she was pregnant as well.

Don't worry peeps my mom's eyes dried pretty quick & I think we are all in agreement that Kevin is the best kind of 'accident.'

I think this designed turned out to be my favorite this year.  It is the 5x7 ornate printed on pearl paper.  I'm not quite sure what I love about it, but its love.

Love ya Megs.

Class of 2011: My 2nd Favorite Graduate.

Well since we're keeping track...meet my 2nd favorite graduate: Beau.  Could he be any cuter? Probably not. And is it lame that I am jealous of an 18-year-old boy's hair?  Probably.  Kevin & Beau are like peanut butter & jelly...they just go together.  Beau has become a part of our family -- even braving the whole fam damily vacation in July with us & all our kids {11 kids to be exact}.  He & Kevin keep things interesting & keep us laughing.  I'm not sure what I am going to do on our beach trip without the two of them.  When I am with them, it is perfectly okay to launch water balloons off the roof at beach goers...without them?  Not so much.  I also love Beau because he can 'girl talk.'  When Kevin won't spill the beans, we can usually count on Beau to fill us in.

We love him.  Kev & Beau do everything together & again, I am secretly, or not-so-secretly jealous of their upcoming college years.  They are spoiled rotten & know how to have fun being spoiled rotten.  You can't help but love them.
Congrats Beau.  Love ya.

Class of 2011: My Favorite Graduate.

2011 was a big year for my family.  The 'baby' of the family graduated from high school.  I remember when he was born {he is 11 years younger than me} & the day that he would be an 'adult' seemed like eons away.  When I graduated HS, he had graduated 1st grade.  But here he is ready to head off to college.  I am beyond excited for him to start this new chapter of his life.  I can't wait to hear all the college details...the girls, the antics, the professors, the girls, the girls.  Granted it is like pulling teeth to get any info out of him, but I'm getting better at pulling teeth & am feeling up to the challenge!

My mom put my sister & I through the ringer for his pictures & announcements -- but we love her attention to detail because everything always turns out great.  She had the idea to include a picture of Kevin with his friends on the back & the biggest problem was narrowing it down to 7 or 8 people.  If there is anything he has in abundance, it is friends.  5 of the 8 in the picture have been in school together since kindergarten.  Love that.

Going to his actual graduation brought back so many memories for me.  I'm glad to have another alum in the family.  He is beyond prepared for college & life in general.  So very proud of him.

congrats Kev. love ya.

Class of 2011: Breanne

Meet Breanne.  She is one of my brother's friends & once again, beyond cute.  I loved the feminine, romantic quality of her pictures.  They were girly, yet sophisticated without being sexy.  There is nothing I dislike more than 'sexy' senior pictures.  Please tell me you know what I am talking about.  What is up with that?  Every picture she took was gorgeous & our biggest problem was narrowing it down.  I love that she hauled her vanity out into the groves, so we had to include that....to see more of her pics, go here.

She is graduating with a license in Aesthetics & she has the skin to prove it.  Again wishing I was as cute as her in high school!

Tomorrow?  My all time favorite graduate from 2011.

Class of 2011: Austin

Meet Austin.  I used to babysit him.  Little did I know all those years ago that he would grow up to be one of my brother's best friends.  Austin is the kid that keeps everyone laughing.  Really.  He is beyond funny...usually at his own expense.

These are the standard 5x7 printed on coated cardstock.  No shapes for the boys this year, just great pictures via Lindsey Bennett Photography.

Class of 2011: Chaille

Let's get this graduation party started...shall we?  Congrats to Chaille {pronounced like hailey, but with a 'ch' at the front}.  These cards are the tea length ornate & they have received some love this graduation season.  Linds, of course, did her pictures & I about died when I saw them.  Mine were so lame.  How come all these girls are so fashionable now???  I seriously have grad pics in overalls.  ew.

Class of 2011.

Graduation is upon us.  Well it has been upon me for the last month as I've met with senior after senior to get their announcements 'just right.'  It has been extra fun this year, since my brother is among them & so most of them I've known since they were 3.  Can't believe they are graduating!

Anyway, if you are still in need of a card or tag...like me.  Here you go.

Become a follower & download away.

Take your pick of color...or use all 4.

And tomorrow...hold on to your seats...graduation announcements coming your way. again. and again. and again.  Can't wait to show you!

Fruits of Our Labors

I am using the words, 'our' very liberally, as really, I'm not included in any of the labor of this little photo shoot.  So really, I should say the fruits of Lindsey & my mom's labor, but that doesn't have quite the same ring.  No?

Anyway...Kevin.  Senior Year.  In Photos.

Are you loving the purple shirt?  I am.  And I should mention that I tried to veto that shirt saying it was too girly, but, as always, my mom was right.  Put that purple shirt on the gray wall...it's love.  You should also know that I am probably doing something completely idiotic behind the camera right now to get Kevin to smile 'naturally.'  And you should also know that my sister probably opened up his eyes a bit in photoshop.  Really, what did we do before photoshop???  Oh yes, I know...we had ugly pictures!

Love them.  Love Kev-Dawg.  And am going to be real sad when he goes away to college & has his own life that is infinitely cooler than mine.  boo.

For more delightful pics...

With graduation just around the corner...here are some designs to get you thinking!

All available as digital files now in my etsy shop {see the right side bar}.  Or I will print them for you 2-sided with a matching back & envelopes.

Please note that in the pictures on etsy the blue on the boy announcements looks neon...let me assure you it is NOT neon.  Not sure why the change when I uploaded them there, but it is definitely bugging!

And I am sure you are shocked...all photography compliments of Lindsey Bennett Photography.

A design...or 2

and loving it. These were for the wedding dinner of my friend's little brother who happened to marry a girl that grew up in the same ward {congregation, if you will} as myself. They are a super cute couple & I'm so glad they chose each other! I hear the wedding went off without a hitch this weekend...and my friend {who is 9 months pregs} now has permission to have her baby. So glad I've never had to be "in" a wedding while pregnant. You're a trooper Linds.

I did these grad announcements when Livs was about...um, 1 week. This is my old boss's daughter & how could I say no to him? It used to be my job to say yes...even to the impossible. In fact, I got the call regarding them about 1 minute after exiting the operating room...seriously. I was wheeled out, held the babes for a second then they took her to clean her up. Scot & I were chatting about how it was lame my mom couldn't come in the recovery area when my phone rang. I assumed it was my mom {calling to tell me it was lame}, when Scot told me it was in fact my old boss. For some reason I couldn't resist answering it. His first question for me was if I had had the baby.

Funny he should ask.

He about died when I told him just how recently I had had her...but of course found the humor as well. I suppose it was the double spinal that had me so jolly.

Anyway, I just can't believe his daughter is graduated. High school doesn't seem like it was that long ago...but in fact it was. eek.
