Class of 2011: Miss Megan

Meet Megan.  Megan is my cousin & I remember when she was born!  Being only 11 days older than my brother, she sticks out in my mind growing up.  I remember when our moms found out they were both pregnant.  Our moms come from a family of 6 girls & they were all in Texas on a 'girls trip.'  For whatever reason my mom took a pregnancy test...I'm pretty sure it started as a joke, but then it became all too real, all too fast when it turned up positive.  My mom was crying because she was pregnant {it was a bit of a shock, when her youngest was 10!} & Megan's mom was wishing to be pregnant & was crying because she wasn't...only to find out shortly she was pregnant as well.  

Don't worry peeps my mom's eyes dried pretty quick & I think we are all in agreement that Kevin is the best kind of 'accident.'

 

I think this designed turned out to be my favorite this year.  It is the 5x7 ornate printed on pearl paper.  I'm not quite sure what I love about it, but its love.

Class of 2011: My 2nd Favorite Graduate.

 

Well since we're keeping track...meet my 2nd favorite graduate: Beau.  Could he be any cuter? Probably not. And is it lame that I am jealous of an 18-year-old boy's hair?  Probably.  Kevin & Beau are like peanut butter & jelly...they just go together.  Beau has become a part of our family -- even braving the whole fam damily vacation in July with us & all our kids {11 kids to be exact}.  He & Kevin keep things interesting & keep us laughing.  I'm not sure what I am going to do on our beach trip without the two of them.  When I am with them, it is perfectly okay to launch water balloons off the roof at beach goers...without them?  Not so much.  I also love Beau because he can 'girl talk.'  When Kevin won't spill the beans, we can usually count on Beau to fill us in.

We love him.  Kev & Beau do everything together & again, I am secretly, or not-so-secretly jealous of their upcoming college years.  They are spoiled rotten & know how to have fun being spoiled rotten.  You can't help but love them.

Class of 2011: My Favorite Graduate.

2011 was a big year for my family.  The 'baby' of the family graduated from high school.  I remember when he was born {he is 11 years younger than me} & the day that he would be an 'adult' seemed like eons away.  When I graduated HS, he had graduated 1st grade.  But here he is ready to head off to college.  I am beyond excited for him to start this new chapter of his life.  I can't wait to hear all the college details...the girls, the antics, the professors, the girls, the girls.  Granted it is like pulling teeth to get any info out of him, but I'm getting better at pulling teeth & am feeling up to the challenge!

My mom put my sister & I through the ringer for his pictures & announcements -- but we love her attention to detail because everything always turns out great.  She had the idea to include a picture of Kevin with his friends on the back & the biggest problem was narrowing it down to 7 or 8 people.  If there is anything he has in abundance, it is friends.  5 of the 8 in the picture have been in school together since kindergarten.  Love that.

 

Going to his actual graduation brought back so many memories for me.  I'm glad to have another alum in the family.  He is beyond prepared for college & life in general.  So very proud of him.

Class of 2011: Breanne

Meet Breanne.  She is one of my brother's friends & once again, beyond cute.  I loved the feminine, romantic quality of her pictures.  They were girly, yet sophisticated without being sexy.  There is nothing I dislike more than 'sexy' senior pictures.  Please tell me you know what I am talking about.  What is up with that?  Every picture she took was gorgeous & our biggest problem was narrowing it down.  I love that she hauled her vanity out into the groves, so we had to include that....to see more of her pics, go here.

She is graduating with a license in Aesthetics & she has the skin to prove it.  Again wishing I was as cute as her in high school!

Tomorrow?  My all time favorite graduate from 2011.

Class of 2011: Austin

 

Meet Austin.  I used to babysit him.  Little did I know all those years ago that he would grow up to be one of my brother's best friends.  Austin is the kid that keeps everyone laughing.  Really.  He is beyond funny...usually at his own expense.

Class of 2011: Chaille

 

 Let's get this graduation party started...shall we?  Congrats to Chaille {pronounced like hailey, but with a 'ch' at the front}.  These cards are the tea length ornate & they have received some love this graduation season.  Linds, of course, did her pictures & I about died when I saw them.  Mine were so lame.  How come all these girls are so fashionable now???  I seriously have grad pics in overalls.  ew.
